Hello!

Mary Parks: My political ideology was Faith and Family left, along with 15% public. I have a lot of political influence growing up from my parents, but have grown from that and adopted my own beliefs. I don't have a lot of political experience. I do not tend to participate in political affairs like voting, campaigns or anything like that mostly because I do not know about the subject at hand. I'm taking this class because it is a prerequisite for my degree. I hope to learn more about our government and more about what government means. I never seemed to really engage in political affairs because I never was aware of it nor very interested in it.On the Civic Literacy quiz I got a 60%, which I feel is somewhat good for me since I'm typically not very intelligent in terms of government and Current Event quiz, I got 8 out of 12 right, which is not terrible either.
